No Accounts, No Cloud Profile

EliminEasy does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, email, or any other identifying information to use the app.

Your Data Stays on Your Device

Your elimination groups, meals, symptom check-ins, notes, shopping lists, pantry items, and settings are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us, sold, or shared with third parties. Deleting the app permanently deletes this data.

Custom Ingredients Are the Exception

If you add a custom ingredient, its name, category, tags, and creation date are uploaded to our database (hosted on Supabase) so we can improve the shared ingredient catalog used by all EliminEasy users. No identity or device information is attached to this upload — we only store the ingredient details themselves.

The Ingredient Catalog

The list of approved and unapproved ingredients you browse in the app is fetched from the same database. This is a one-way lookup of general food data and does not involve any of your personal information.

AI Recipe Generation

When you generate a recipe, the ingredient names in that meal, your requested serving size and time limit, your currently-allowed ingredients, and the names of your eliminated groups are sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to create the recipe. These requests also include a randomly generated identifier stored on your device, used only to prevent abuse of this feature (for example, limiting how many recipes can be requested in a short period) — it is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you. Recipe requests are not used to train AI models.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage your entitlements; RevenueCat processes your purchase receipts and an anonymous app user ID to determine whether your Pro access is active. We do not collect your name or email as part of a purchase.

Notifications

EliminEasy can send local notifications, such as a daily check-in reminder and optional motivational messages. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. Enabling them is optional and can be turned on or off at any time in iOS Settings.

No Analytics or Advertising

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party trackers of any kind. We do not know how you use the app beyond what is described above.

Children's Privacy

EliminEasy is not directed at children and is not designed to collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
